BIG MEET 20-22 May 2022- Attendance list and payment info

On behalf of the admin team , I am pleased to announce the details for this years big meet and open up attendance list and payment info .

The meet will be the weekend of 20 to 22 May 2022. Usual schedule, arrive on the Friday anytime after lunch , ride out on the Saturday , depart on the Sunday morning.
As in previous years , we have booked space at a hotel in the village for Sat eve where meals and drinks available
Venue is the the Llanfyllin Workhouse in Wales. Postcode SY22 5LD easy to find on A490 just outside the village.

Choice of bunkhouse or camping .The price for accommodation only is as follows :

Bunkhouse £34 for the weekend (ie 2 nights @ £17 pppn ), including bedding - first come first serve on booking
Camping / Vanping £15 for the weekend (ie 2 nights @ £7.50 pppn) ample space

Indoor showers , wc, washing facilities included in above .

Food - Optional
Cooked breakfast is available on Saturday and Sunday morning (sausage bacon eggs, beans, hash browns, and help yourself to tea/coffee toast as before.
also veggie and vegan options). Cost is £8 each meal payable to the Bunkhouse , that will be payable on the weekend of the meeting .
Can you also indicate here if you will be wanting the cooked breakfasts ,and if veggie or vegan , as I need to confirm numbers in advance .


We will arrange hot pies or sausage rolls for those who want it on arrival on the Friday


Bar will be open on the Friday evening .

All monies mentioned above go to the venue , not to the club . We as a club have certain overheads and costs , so if you are attending the event it would be appreciated if you could consider making a voluntary donation of between £5 and £10 via the donate button on the forum .


Important other points
As a condition of attending the event your bike must be roadworthy , taxed , MOTd and insured . You are responsible for your own safety and those around you .
Informal ride outs on the Saturday to be arranged .
Usual commonsense , treat the venue with respect , and no unreasonable / antisocial behaviour . Places like this for motorcycle club gaterings are not easy to find , we have a good relationship with Llanfyllin and we want to be welcomed back .
Campers , vanpers, please dont burn BBQs , fossil fuels etc inside , carbon monoxide is a silent odourless killer.

Existing and new members welcome as always . Big meet is intended to be an enjoyable social event .

Since I can't make a transfer with the existing data, I got in touch with Debbi.
She wrote me "This is not a problem, when you arrive on site the weekend of the 20th May, could you please go to the bar and make your payment. The lady behind the bar (Jean ) is our secretary, I shall make her aware"

Hope it´s o.k. and I'm not going to blow up the system

I'll also have the club shop at the meet along with all of the usual spares etc..

If anyone wants anything in particular for me to bring along and fit (Tyres, sprockets, flywheel weights etc etc just let me know so I can bring relevant tools and parts)

I'll also be bringing some customers engines along to be collected and may bring the test bed so we can fire them up for a bit of interest along with a few other bits and pieces!
