project x is coming along spiffingly....just a couple o pics showing progress.
stop press.............she's now at running stage,rear wheel back to gether etc..she starts and runs great...two kicks and away....rear carrier to paint up then off to MOT station.

i just love the look of a nice clean engine with new nuts & bolts.....don't forget to pain your forks.

i used olive drab ,made up at my local auto paint shop,spray and brush on.engine is rustoleum bbq paint gloss from homebase and other good diy outlets.i used matt on the pipes ,the gloss finish is more satin so good on the engine.just on word of warning...its not fuel proof.mmmm as i found out so have had to laquer it.using a clear ht laquer from a1 motor stores.
