Ryedale Rally 4-5/7/15

Post by geoff barnett » Tue Mar 17, 2015 6:57 am

I have just entered the above. It is 250 offroad miles over two days in the forests of "Heartbeat" land, aka North Yorkshire. It's a lot of fun, it's not too hard - mainly lots of firebreak tracks.

It costs Ă‚ÂŁ180 if you dont have an ACU licence, a little less if you do.

I'll be using my MT500, it would be great to have other MT's there and if there are at least 3 we can form a team. If interested, be quick only a few entries left. To enter go to: http://www.enduro-neec.org.uk/calendar.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Thanks for the offer Geoff. I've just watched the video of last year's event. If the Yorkshire Dales event isn't happening, this would make a fantastic replacement. It looks great. Unfortunately it clashes with the start of our trip to Spain. Website says 4/5 July - you've said June???

Well spotted that man!

The event is 4-5 of July. So let's raise a team or two - max 3 per team.

Another correction the regs reveal it is only 220 miles over two days.

It is centred and headquartered on the village of Goathland (Aidensfield in Heartbeat), hence lots of pubs, restaurants, B and Bs, hotels and a campsite).

If you are wavering, don't, this event is really a lot of fun and a good and very gentle intro into competitive(ish) offroad riding.

Gary, Mick, Nick, Yorkshire Daves x 2 and Chris (and any other usual offroad suspects), as of this morning there are still entries available for the Ryedale!
