think of some dates.
november would be best but i would prefer to go early summer,better weather and longer daylight hours,..june ,whilst kids are still at school. i am flexible.

we need to think of a location ,such as Arras ,which is a 1.5 hours from Calais and 1.5 hours from Ypres ,and are we using one location for camping save packing up camp,or do we need another location ,only a thought to get the ball rolling any thoughts,

i agree with your location kieth.
depending on duration of trip, i fancy getting down to verdun. some big forts there and scenes of some big battles.

https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/Arr ... cc40?hl=en" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

so a two centre would be good. still not too much hassle i dont think. bastoigne isnt too far away iether. some ww2 battle of the bulge stuff there.
i agree, 100 to 150 miles a day max riding.
