Hi, I took these photos during practise whilst taking part in the 1987 championship in Osnabruck. This was the first year for the Armstrong as the Can Am had been withdrawn. I and a friend were taking part with the competition machines on another old war horse the BSA B40 although we were allowed do to the same laps as the Armstrong.

I was with 28 Amph Engr Regt, in Hamelin.

You mean Hameln :D ( I know, depends how you spell it :D ). You must have had more than your fair share of grub at George's then

23 Sqn at the time of the photos, then a tour of NI with 64 Sqn

Hi,

Love the pics and so pleased the B40 got a shout as I have both the B40WD and MT500, seeing as they are related ( see my previous rants). Big green four strokes rule OK...BANG... oops another big end gone!
