WD40 sprayed liberally over your erectrics before puddling should be the order of the day :-)

You don't need a parachute to skydive. You only need a parachute to skydive twice.

Llangollen had heavy cloud this morning but was nice and sunny this afternoon, just with the odd drop of rain now and again. The river was full though ! Man-on-the-ground Xerxes reports the Wayfarer as reasonably dry- unless your riding buddy drops his bike in a big puddle ;)

Wayfarer is dry. But the usual water traps are about up to the mid pipe. There are also afew extra water sections caused by the recent rain... Although these are not deep if you lay the bike on its side you will get a wet air filter...and electrics... and switchgear.. and horn....and......

Better than up north then. We had bloody rain most of the day although looking better now. Cold this morning too. I'm just wondering how many waterproofs to bring and spare gear, it's Wales and I'm a pessimist :-)
