This looks fantastic and I'm glad it will be above my budget as I'd probably never get it dirty looking that good! Out of interest, what makes it lightweight apart from removing stuff like racks etc. and a replacing h/light, instruments & rear mudguard?
Thats basically it Rick... Dont forget the carb! That halved the weight in one hit! The centre stand has gone as well as indicators.. Alloy bars... It does feel a lot lighter than standard - just ask John and Ruth.... Mind you compared to their fully laden 350 an oil tanker would seem lighter!

Actually managed to do a bit the blue laner today.. brakes bled, not bad for grimecas! Left hand switch gear wired up and headlight wiring, electric starter and kill switch.. all now working a treat.. Headlight to fit on tomorrow and then a test ride me thinks, might have some room to start building Mels Vinduro!

Nice Gary

No engine guard?

Also, what switchgear did you use?

Cheers Roy, Nope no engine guard, LH switch gear came off ebay, had to mess about with connector blocks but well worth it in the end..
