I'm going to try and pick up the slack from Franc as his personal circumstances are tough so rest assured this event will go ahead.

Just to confirm:

Scout hut all booked, NO ARRIVALS until 9:30pm on Thursday. (those arriving Thursday must PM me)
The cycle hut are exepcting us for breakfast Saturday and Sunday morning.
Meal in the pub on Saturday night all confirmed. we'll take food orders from everyone on Friday night as the menu is likely to change between now and then.

Easy/medium Trail ride available Friday from Bristol 12 (midday), Hard Trail Ride on Saturday from 9:30 at beaver lodge.

Marked maps will be available for others who wish to go on alternative runs, It would be great if people who wish to lead alternative rides and or road runs could make them selves known on friday night.

Hope to see you there.

Do we have directions and addresses? Any details of the site?

Rich and I will arrive around lunchtime/afternoon Friday and set up camp by the look if it.

Any details on the area we are going on the lanes?

To find the scout hut look at the following postcode: GL15 4JA

If you come into parkend from Lydney then you can't miss the hut, It's directly oppisite a cycle hire station (who will be open for breakfast for us on both saturday and sunday morning).

Cost of camping is Ă‚ÂŁ5 per person per night

Details about ride outs is covered earlier in the thread. The group I'm leading on Saturday will be riding out towards Usk on some tough lanes.

Change of plan:

The friday ride out will be at the scout hut at Midday on friday the 12th NOT my house in Bristol.

However I can announce that Pirate will be leading a guided road ride on the Saturday while.

Right o here goes.

Several weeks ago I had an arguement with a raised concrete island and broke my left foot   :( so will not be doing any off roading this year!!!! VERY sorry to everyone who was looking forward to me providing the entertainment by my various 'offs' on route

I will be there to meet and greet from 12ish on the Friday and doing my very best to poison you all on the Friday night with the BBQ, so that Matt does not have too many to take out on the Saturday    might mix some of my pain tabs into the food to see what effect it has :!: :!: :!: :!: :D :D :o

I will also be looking after the fire on the Friday/Saturday to keep you guys warm in the evening . Once strapped up on Saturday I shall lead a road route for those (Mel) who don't want to tackle Matts nasties

The Management will be meeting this Wednesday evening to sort out beat out any last min problems. Price for BBQ is going to be the same as last year....will have to look at last years thread to get price!!!

Sorry not been around for quite a while but alot has been going on in Pirate's ship.
