Is the tunnel worth the extra or is it just as much hassle?

Thanks
Pro's and con's, the ferry is a nice break if you've traveled a while to get there, time to chill out and eat but you loose 4.5hrs travel time on the way out as opposed to 2hrs with the train, train is so much easier and you save 12 miles travel time/fuel (times inc waiting to board/disembark and clock going forward 1hr)

Very little difference in price, about £60-£70 return.

I take on board what you say youngster but found the tunnel not helpful when I enquired about a group booking, whereas the ferry could be done on line..

Book individually, not a problem as there is always room for bikes, it's not limited like a ferry.

And you won't have to lay out £70 x N and chase your money up.

Hi all

Just received a PM from Jonathan saying he can no longer attend the trip. He was a great addition to last years avent and will be missed.

This means the trip accommodation costs will go up slightly but we will have more cheese to go round
