The head was warmed in the oven, the new needle bearing cooled in the freezer. Stud and bearing loctite placed around bearing and inner side of hole in the head. RTV placed around centre and outer edge of hole and old bearing used to back up the RTV as opposed to just pushing it all out when new bearing installed. Tapped in new bearing, wiped off excess RTV. No oil leaks found after 6 minutes of running on the test bed! Happy Days!!
