I went to the last Lightning Display at Binbrook 1987. They flew a Diamond 9 in very poor conditions , low cloudbase etc. It was fantastic. I'm sure had the weather been better it would have been even better.No really now as the RAF hasn't got any planes left to watch...they have retired them all

Now that's when the RAF had some interesting aircraft.
