A bit of an update. I've planned a route around the local area that includes some good stretches of green lanes, and also a few miles around the estate tracks. The loo situation is in the balance as the floor is threatening to fall out of it, but I think we can make it last until after the weekend. I forgot to mention it is a proper caravan site next to the camping area (water, hardstanding, septic tank, no electric though - no charge) for those who don't want to slum it in a tent. Extremely unlikely that there would be anybody else on the site.
I've asked for just enough rain to keep the dust down

Are we allowed to know the location please? I'd hate for you to be waiting on your own while we all dick around Northamptonshire looking for a green bike in a field..... or have I missed something?

Sorry, don't know why I didn't mention that sooner. Its Boughton Estate, in-between Kettering and Corby. The camping site is just outside Grafton Underwood, site of a old American airbase
