Simon has just kindly sent me the military info that he has on record for the bike, can anybody please translate it for me--

93 KD 10 was its military registration

118 Recovery Company Royal Electrical & Mechanical Engineers.. I think they were a TA unit somewhere.... HTH!

Are you sure?
I think the racks designed for the hard panniers (craven?) have small lugs welded on to attach the boxes on to, these look like chopped down standad ones.

thought i was sure, but on closer inspection you are correct
there are no lugs present
