ABR rally is last weekend of June.
You didn't tell me, where's my ticket?
I might have to get one if the entertainment is booked. The chain lube eater is worth a watch. :D

I remember that one Minter, the field at the bottom of the track where we all had to be towed out by Steve's landy due to the rain and mud :x :shock:

I would join you for a ride along the trails. I don't go in for the hard-core off-roading that many members relish, but enjoy a good trail.

I thinking of the weekend of the 3rd/4th or 10th 11th July. Not having done this thing before are folk looking for two days 10 hour hardcore off roading, or rock up one afternoon for an evenings green laning, camp overnight for another session on the morning, or go home as you have such a hangover?

A ‘normal’ mt weekend is: turn up Friday afternoon/evening, drink till dark and ruin your chances of good riding Saturday.
Go riding Saturday. Get back to camp. Drink.
Go home Sunday.

2nd 3rd July Northamptonshire bimbling

Post by Jon P » Mon Apr 26, 2021 8:17 pm

Okay, that sounds like a plan. Those who are camping can turn up Friday afternoon evening, perhaps go for a quick spin round the woods, or just get the beer out. Saturday I'll plan a tour around the estate and local area and for anybody else who turns up on the Saturday. There'll be at least one pub/cafe stop . Those who want to stop the Saturday evening are welcome.
The details so far;
Takes place over the 2nd and 3rd July
  • Camping is available on the afternoon, evening of Friday. The field is flat. We have water, We have a loo. The site is secure
    • Nearest pub is about 2-3 miles away - Green Dragon Brigstock, Three Cocks Brigstock, or Star Inn Geddington.
    • Optional quick spin round estate Friday evening
    • Saturday meet at ?? in the morning. Set of for a further exploration of estate woodland and tracks, further afield into north Northamptonshire green lanes, cafes, pub, etc. For the HD riders we could even have tea and buns at the Sycamore HD in Uppingham.
Nearer the time I'll start asking for a camping list so as to make sure you can get into the site. Also a rough numbers list to better plan routes, etc
Looking forward to it
