I love it!
I think keeping the rest of the car tatty looking would be the best way to surprise all those spotty corsa drivers. 8-)

:D yep but it will be restored back to std, the body work is currently underway by local classic car bodywork man.
I do like the idea of a "sleeper" mine will be but lowered slightly and classic bucket seats.

Fantastic project! Would be interesting to see a write up as it progresses.... Not an MT but a lot of good engineering info.

Head all built up and valve clearances done, everything else mocked up for now.
Next job is valve timing and then plasticine on the pistons to make sure nothing its going to interfere.
Looking good though :D

Had a bit of trouble with the crank going tight when I torqued it up so going to have to investigate that. The crank has been polished and is still on std size on both main and big end and with new bearings so not sure what's wrong. Hopefully not oval conrods or warped block...
Meanwhile I decorated the rocker cover :-)

Back in the day, my dad had an A35 and I remember it rolled like a pig. I presume that your lowered suspension will be stiffer than standard
