She lives!!!!!!!!

I have been busy over the past month or so and cracked on with the painting etc. Electrics were a complete write off so fitted a new loom. Header was rotted out so that was replaced as well. New plastic front and rear mudguards and new side panels make it look really neat and tidy.
She ran so well, stainless end can makes it sound so sweet, I nearly asphyxiated myself though as I hadn't noticed the build up of exhaust fumes in the garage!

Chuffed to bits with the bike, few little bits to finish off then the test ride!



The new side panels from Force are not a great match for the original plastics but I can live with that without resorting to painting them.

Looks great. May be worth talking Nick at Force as he has the darker side panels in now. Perhaps he'll let you do a swap?

I'm afraid there are only two colours of plastic available, light green for MT350, dark green for MT500. In fact it is only recently that we have been able to re-commission production of the dark green. The difference in these colours is immense, they are miles apart form each other. Also certain items are of course specific for MT350 or MT500.
As the stock of panels has been made from different batches of plastic granule raw material, in some cases over several years, slight inconsistencies in shade are unfortunately inevitable.
I can assure owners that every piece of plastic we sell has been made by one manufacturer since 1985 on one set of moulds.
