Big thanks to Andy and the Conwy club for organising another great weekend, food was great, trials competition great fun despite the rain! Good to ride some new trails with our KTM guiders! Big thanks to MadStu for buying all my inner tubes! Hope the Sportax shop was useful, ive made a note of extra things to keep on the van for next time!

See you all in a few weeks at Wye Valley!

Well that was an event that almost didn't happen! Thankfully saved by Ian and Chippy but reports suggest an outstanding location so thanks to Dave for that (and for sorting the beer). The Conwy club will no doubt be thanking Roey for his absence - I hear there was tons of beer left.
A public apology to Mr Shiney for the muck up on motor home access which left him and his mates a bit marooned elsewhere. I will talk to Ross to see if there is a plot nearby to accommodate the Gin Palaces of the washed and civilised members.
I hear the catering was excellent so thank you to Jonathon, Keith and Brian.
I'm glad it went so well all things considering.

Ditto to all of the above. A bit more challenging thanks to the rain but a great weekend all the same. Really sorry I missed the trial I'll aim for better planning next year so not ot miss a minute.
Thanks all.

Slightly slanderous towards someone who likes the odd beer to be sociable :D

As for getting motorhomes to the venue, the full size dustbin lorries have no problems getting there on a weekly basis...apparently ;)

We got to where they would empty the bins from no problem. Unfortunately staying parked on that spot would have blocked the entire village. The rest of the climb up to the bunkhouse was impassable for us. I did take pictures. The only place on the carpark that would have taken us has we actually managed to get on was occupied by the much smaller Rotax marketing machine. I did look around the village to see if there was anywhere else that we could go but its a one road town with no space for anything other than passing through it.

Anecdotal evidence suggests that Minters entry was not as no problem as claimed either.... :D

If course you had been there Roey instead of commenting from your armchair you would know that...... ;)

As it turns our we did just fine with our group operating from Betwsy. It was good to see Bonnielad ace Sarn Helen. Kawasaki Rich is like a kid with a new toy on his Can Am. Much thanks to Davd for guiding, always great company.

Honda's, Can Ams, there's me thinking it was an MT only weekend.

I have heard fantastic reports regarding the bunkhouse and it's facilities, well done Dave for sorting that.

If I can't get my motorhome there next year then I will either bunk or camp to join in with the club and it's social event.
