Its extended the life of it a fair bit. Strange thing with these bikes is they are fairly rare, fairly old but never seem to be worth much,do they?
Its easy to spend far more than it'll ever be worth!
New tyres, a battery and some new light bulbs is almost half of what its worth!!
My mate did a fantastic job on the parts. All the parts were blasted etched and powdered or painted NATO green or satin black. The powder and paint are 30% gloss, not completely matt, cos I thought it would be easier to clean for a commuter.

Very nice, hope to do mine like this one day.

Good choice on paint me thinks, looks good, totally flat matt paint seems to stay wet for a while, like it actually soaks water up almost!

Very nice job - I might paint mine shiney green next time rather than matt green!

I particularly liked the plastic hand guards - I've got barkbusters on my MT500 and I'd appreciate knowing where you got the hand guards from?
