Re: MT touring interest
that last post did not work out quite as well as i expected . anyway my sugestion was to bring the tour to ireland. with members all over the emerald isle we could each show you the delights of our own areas and/or combine the tour with the irish meetup.

Hi Willie,
I could warm to your idea of an Ireland tour. Do you have any locations in mind at present?
It has got to be 10 years since I last toured your country and it was memorable!!

I'm up for Ireland, not worried where I go, everywhere is an adventure on an MT...you never know where you may end up!

Be who you are and say what you feel because those that
matter don't mind and those that mind don't matter!

MT touring interest
Hi, I havent met anyone from here yet but I'd be up for a trip, somewhere like Wales or Scotland with a mix of byways and roads. Id rather do Tenting than hosteling. I'm planning a trip to France as my first 'abroad' ride out but that's on my iron.

I'm interested ! UK or a more ambitious trip definitely attractive. Would welcome a planned group trek ... that way when my bike coughs or splutters on some far off road, I'll be able to get some trail fix advice rather than counting on my own expertise ... if I were to depend on my own mechanical knowledge, I suspect I'd start the old boy up and hit the emergency off button after the engine had fired up ! Also great to travel with others. i did a 5 countries in 25 hrs cancer research trip in September with my ex instructor ( now a great mate ) and his daughter . having company was the best aspect of the ride and the feeling i got from knocking back a flask of coffee in some distant lay by whilst discussing the pain crippling my over taxed and rain soaked body was terrific. Count me in !
