What a great weekend, now I can say I have done the Dragon rally. :D
Got back as far as Abergavenny, stopped for fuel only to find that my reg rectifier had died, and fried my battery. :(
That was a brand new battery now looks like a football, and I could not restart the bike for love or money, so the last 25 miles was completed in the back of a van.
Apologies for not saying goodbye to everyone, hope you all have a better journey home than I did. ;)

Sorry you did not manage to make it John, I met up with Tony who passed on the news.

A very good run home, expected some rain, but it was clear all the way, but I did resort to the motorway for the last half.

After not doing many events last year is was good to met some old faces and also put new faces to names.

I've got some video to post, once I get Youtube sorted.

Think the whole weekend was epic! :) The ride up with Franc, meeting up at the cafe with several of you and riding up over snowy mountains into the hill fog, overheating sidecars, sidecars bolts rattling out, clutch cables fraying, throttle grips unattachhing, mad stu's chilli sauce, epic snoring and farting in the bunkhouse, flammable homebrew on campfire, homemade bar muffs, getting over taking on way home by excessive speeders to later overtake them whilst being ticketed by the police  francs battery melting :o and then meeting 2 more mt riders on the road home too - epic

A great start to the MT biking year. It was great to see some old faces as well as plenty of new ones. The weather was really kind to us after all.

Great ride back with Brian and Gary, some really nice roads.

Andrew and I finally made it home at 6:30, only 7 1/2 hours ride! We may have caught a glimpse or the ellusive ellrider on the way home but that can't be confirmed yet! Nice of Hogan to catch us up during a piss-stop then laughing as Frank trundled past in his van!

Excellent weekend, cheers to the Conwy club! See you all at Stafford!

You don't need a parachute to skydive. You only need a parachute to skydive twice.

Everyone in our camp had gone to bed by about one so I headed over to see if you were about and there was no sign of anyone.

How did you see me coming in the dark?
