Hi
for those who are thinking of coming to the Bunkhouse over BLAENAUFFESTINIOG down to BETWS Y COED , The road is closed today due to heavy frost so it might be worth changing your route tomorrow due to the ice

yes A5 ok today but CRIMEA PASS was frozen so bad there was a accident and emergency services couldnt get there due to bad ice This report was on Radio 2 traffic report 11 oclock this morning

I note that 'Freezing rain' is forecast for North Wales. This is where very cold rain drops hit a cold road and it freezes over very quickly, something we don't usually get.

some REALLY nasty weather hitting all approaches to the Dragon by the looks of things.
We have 2" of snow forcast overnight. :shock:
The forest of Dean is near impassable when the lightest of flurries hit us. :roll:

any hint of snow i would give the Pandarosa a miss better known as the horse shoe pass cos its quite high with a good drop
