Wirral Egg Run Sunday 1st April 2012

The annual Wirral Egg Run is scheduled for Sunday 1st April 2012.

For those within striking distance this is a 20 mile run, with a HUGE number of bikes attending-some estimates have been as high as 10,000. Following the run itself we can go for a bimble around if riders wish. You don't have to bring an egg, but a donation in the bucket would be welcome, and less of a logistics problem for the organisers.

I would suggest meeting in the car park of B&Q at Bidston at 9 45 am. Whilst the run itself doesn't start until 11am, it's best to get there in good time.

Noticed the post when it first went up and four from here are coming.

Only Paul on the MT, the rest will be on whatever’s nearest to the garage door to meet up at nine on the east lancs then on to B&Q

I'm currently preping the 350 for a trip to Bulgaria later this year and as a trial I intend to ride it from Leicester , do the Egg Run , and then back home , all on the same day - so I'll see you all there then .

And as for Ourkids silly question on another link about finishing at The Tap all I have to say to him is "Can a duck swim?"

I seem to recall you rode a Moto Guzzi up for the run a few years back. I'm sure it will be a good shakedown for you, let's hope the weather is good as usual.
Ourkid will be walking his dog down to the Tap. I don't know exactly what I'll do after Clatterbridge, if it's good weather I'll probably make the most of it and go for a bimble.
