Aquired march 2009 as a non runner

After spending hours on this site looking for information,ideas and inspiration thought it only fair to show you what I did with all that knowledge.
During my service years I had always longed to ride one of these beasts, however the transport regiment I was in didn't seem to have much requirement for motorcycle licence holders and so it was all but a dream.
But not any more I am now the proud owner of a fully rstored MT500.
Just need that licence now :(

After removing the timing cover it became apparant why it was a non runner (splayed keyway) Big job broke out.
