Re: Project Armstrong MT604 Supermoto/MXer/Traily
Today has been one of those days! Airbox and battery box been on and off a dozen times! Ive now had to use the 350 airbox so that it all fits nice with the battery box also off a 350 and the inner mudgaurd again off a 350. The circuit breakers will mount on top of the air box and fit nice below the 350 seat..
Its now starting to look like a bike again.....
Tomorrow, i'll be trying to sort out the electrics!

Re: Project Armstrong MT604 Supermoto/MXer/Traily
You are better off getting rid of the airbox altogether, the filter will be too restrictive for the 604. as for the circuit breaker, with the fuse box out the way this can be mounted on the rear inner mudguard bit.
Just thoughts you may have better plans

Re: Project Armstrong MT604 Supermoto/MXer/Traily
Hi Mel, I have got a cone filter that came with the engine and carb, but ideally the air box is what i want - especially for wet wales or dusty spain! Ive got a k and n panel filter which i intend to use and I may open up some of the airbox cover... I'll find out when it runs!StackerMel wrote:You are better off getting rid of the airbox altogether, the filter will be too restrictive for the 604. as for the circuit breaker, with the fuse box out the way this can be mounted on the rear inner mudguard bit.

Re: Project Armstrong MT604 Supermoto/MXer/Traily
tried the 604 motor on the Airbox but the Dyno guy could not get enough air into the engine
so you may wish to rethink that before you get to far Gary
