You definitely have to ride over the Milau. Its bloody amazing  The sides are quite high so I stood up on the pegs and rode quite slowly. There was no other traffic, I had it all to myself

Widmer Pool

Bridge Club is pleased to present a pair of locked gates barring the way to an Armcoed bridge over a dry gulch, gulley or ditch which gives access to a large blue pool.

A nice pair of pukka clappers, not a rivet out of place. Easy to imagine that the little one’s more for your packhorse than your horseless carriage, but the big four-spanner provides luxury and practicality in equal measure.

The Bridge Club Attitude to Rain

Post by NVNL » Wed Dec 14, 2011 6:05 am

So I trundled about for an hour in perfect December sunshine til I got to the ford and bridge at Bosent (see Bridge Clubs passim) when it started to rain, just. On the other hand the West Looe River was in flood technically and the road clearly was awash. Even I can’t pretend that the bridge had broken up.
