Coast to coast 2012

I am planning a run for any MT owners in 2012 along the same format as this year's Pennine Way run. (See Event Reports for outline of the 2011 Pennine Way Run) The route, some 200 miles, will be from the Dee Estuary to the Severn Estuary or more precisely Prestatyn to Chepstow on roads running as close as possible to the Offa's Dyke path. Mainly minor roads, some maybe with grass in their middle with luck!

It will be a Thursday & Friday event with an over night camp (or hostel) at Bridges in Shropshire. This site / hostel is owned and run by a motorcyclist and there is a great country style pub 2 minutes walk from the campsite for evening meals. You can have breakfast in the hostel if required.

The dates I have in mind are March 15th - 16th.

Sounds good, much of the trail close to Offas Dyke path close to Chepstow are known to us, and have been covered while on the Wye Valley Weekend, so you should have no problems around here.
Your welcome to use my place as a pit stop, refresh, or if you need somewhere to camp, the pub down the road is more than happy to help.
