In search of a little local knowledge I popped in to the nearby Superbike Centre and Grill however Rob and Len were busy cutting down a tree and fettling a Velocette.

Are the bike boots waterproof or did you mean the green wellington?

I love the pictures, I often think I should take a camera but then have so much fun riding I forget to stop and use it.

Are the bike boots waterproof or did you mean the green wellington? The bike boots are also waterproof. Relatively cheap carp from the local modern Jap bike dealer.

I love the pictures, I often think I should take a camera but then have so much fun riding I forget to stop and use it. Easily done. When I used to smoke I would stop for a spit and a draw now and then. These days I take photos. That's progress for you.

Steam gives way to sail

So there I was snapping away on important Bridge Club business when Mum turned up with the kids to remind us all who was here first. You meet the nicest people on a bridge.

“I gather a ‘Clapper’ bridge is a type. What makes it so?â€Â

“Clam Bridges are common in South-East Cornwall ... but on the moors we find their counterparts, the Clapper Bridges ... made of huge unchiselled blocks of moorstone.â€Â

Secret Bridge

Some people use SatNav, some use MapNav, some hold true to the Verishort Tribe of Africa’s Veritall Grasslands and are quite content to wander about asking from time to time, “Where the heck are we?â€Â
