Another damp morning in paradise

This morning I took the LE to New Bridge which spans the River Fowey on the edge of Lower Cabilla Wood in the Glynn Valley.

On we go

Leaving New Bridge behind we ride sedately through Leball Wood with Death Corner out of sight to the west, past Le Ball itself and on to Little Downs, on the green we bear right, take a right and later right again for Welltown and Tawna.

So the story goes, Paulâ€™s forebears were evacuated from Plymouth during World War Two up onto Dartmoor out of harmâ€™s way. His family formed a bond with their hosts which is still strong today, seven decades on.

An offering from Donegal

Hope I got the best pic uploaded. still learning. But Bridges - after being brought up beside IKB railway and Taymar toll bridges there is no way I'm not intrigued by them.

Keep up the good work, and Norman, maybe we will think of a trip over, sometime!

Sent out on a wet afternoon to buy cat food and to take care of a couple of items of Bridge Club business I decided, on advice, to ride along the River Lerryn for a little way.
