Arron's rides

Post by morpheus » Sat May 23, 2009 6:42 am

Nice bikes Arron!

I'd love a G80 (and not just coz it's red!) - I take it it's electric start?

Great bikes - I am another member of the G80 appreciation society - would love one too.

I looked at a black & gold G80 a couple of years ago, it was absolutely immaculate, but at around Ă‚ÂŁ2750 a bit steep I thought - I wish now that I had bought it . . . . . . but thats always the way isn`t it

I seem to recall the ey ones were kick start only and only had a single disc, the later twin disc models had elec start I think

You don't need a parachute to skydive. You only need a parachute to skydive twice.

I am slightly confused as the MT500 shown in the top photograph is actually stood in my garage, and has been since February? It is also shown in the project 'Sapper' thread???

It even has the same oil patch underneath!

The modern-ish Matchless G80 was available with twin discs and electric start as options. Afew of the older guys in the AJS and Matchless owners club have them for the leccy start, thankfully I,m not one of them yet.
If you want to see a proper Matchless look in the gallery for a pic of my MT and you,ll see it in the background. :) :) :)
