a big up to wye valley massive...innit
i had a great weekend , thanks to franc , mr pirate and all who were involved in the planning and execution(nothing to do with the bbq, honest) for all their hard work.
i set off in glorious sunshine and got home in rain and wind.took an extra 1/2 hour back due to my sprocket bolts working their way loose and nearly loosing one nearing wrexham. i should have checked the bike over before i left the campsite !! lesson 512.
my wife still doesnt believe i had a cheese and cider evening  (thanks to mr chisler)
it was also good to meet some new members.

looking forward to the next one.

Some great riding, and even greater banter, + some dodgey cooking, we ended up making a small profit which we will be donating to club funds, after all the forum brought us together, and we would like to give some thing back.
:D We couldn't have done it without you guys, ;) :D
Thankyou for coming, it was great to see you all, a special thanks to Bunker and Alex, who took out a group even though they had no idea of where they were going. 8-)
I also hope that Mel has a quick recovery, sorry you got hurt mate.

We will hod another one next year, the feed back was that everyone seemed to like the venue, so I will see if we can book it again, if not we do have other options.
We were very fortunate with the weather, but Mr Fox, Pirate and I were talking of moving it forward in the year, what do you guys think? When would be good for you?

We will probably stick with the same routes, maybe some small variations, and try and include some other stuff as well (wooded enduro track has been offered for a fee).

If anyone has a piccies can you please post them up, as I didn't have a camera.

Thanks guys for the pos feed back, at the end of the day we are glad that you all had a very good time and got home safely. We are already beginning the planning for next year and might add some extra routes onto those already done 'satans scrotum steps' being one of them :!:

I've had no reported deaths from my BBQ, :( so I will have to try harder next year

I am already looking forward to leading you all astray next year and to those guys in our group who had not done this before, I think Franc would join me in this, you should be very proud of your achievement :!: :!:

Agree with all the comments above, great event and i hope it does become an annual event. It was really good to meet the new members, what a great diverse bunch of folks this club has.

Thanks for all the concern as well, i did go to A&E, I have fractured my radius, still really annoyed with myself but that's life. I now have a fetching arm ornament.

Brilliant weekend lads, thanks to the big 3 for organising it and all the work you put in. Mel, looking at that photo, I thought you'd bashed your face up too but then remembered you always look like that.......

Great to meet people we hadnt met before, always good to put faces to names.
