Franc, what is fuel situation like there, is there a petrol station nearby or do we need to bring extra?

There is a Tesco store + fuel station in Lydney 4 miles from camp, this is the nearest reliable one, Chepstow (14miles). there are other fuel stations on route of the run, in Coleford (7 miles), Whitchurch (10 miles), Monmouth (18 miles).
There is an old fashioned petrol station 25 yards from the campsite, but I have never seen anyone getting fuel from there.
So fuel is no problem.

Just found out there is another bike event in the same area on the sunday if anyone is interested in spectating?
Looks as though they may well be using some of the same trails as us.
It may appeal to Ellrider in particular.

I am planning on attending their club meeting this Monday evening, and having a chat, mostly to make sure we won't be clashing with them.

I hope you bought back plenty of Moroccan spices to hide the taste.
