Re: Alps or bust
Excellent photos, hope the bike is still holding out. As they say, if it's still working, best left alone, but keep an eye out.
Looking forward to hear the tales of the journey on your safe return

Re: Alps or bust
Been nursing the clutch and changing up late & today it was manageable. So I'm a bit more relaxed about it. The scenery here just gets better & better. Today spent at the foot of the Eiger north face (photo).

Re: Alps or bust
Today spent climbing up to the foot of the climb of the infamous Eiger N face. Used to climb before kids showed up & this place a bit of a Mecca to the climbing world. Day started with adjusting the clutch without the tool, just an 11 mm skt & screw driver. Cable at clutch end popped out as I set off, caused by tightening the nut which rotates the arm & does a Whitney (causes the nipple to pop out).Lesson learned, otherwise bike doing fine, touch wood.
