......Been on the road for a few days now....done 1150 miles since leaving home......averaging 71mpg.......cruising comfortably at about 52mph on the A roads & motorways......went up to Scotland......had a wonderful send-off from Moscow, then stopped a couple of nights on the coast and visited some old childhood haunts.......Drove down to Buxton yesterday & camped the night at Lime Tree Camp site......Great place to stop.......Today stopped at Force Motorcycles....Thanks Nick.....We put on a new cambelt, put some new springs on the centre stand, an oil change and swapped the flasher unit as well as a few other things......bike running well......Met Worz last night on the way to Buxton.....Tomorrow night at the Ace Cafe 5pm to 8pm then it's into Europe on Friday.....

Just got home from the Ace Cafe seeing Pupster off. Took my 350 into work today (that caused a few comments) just so I could head straight to Ace.
Good luck to the 3 of you I would love to do the trip on my BMW or Pan but would have to think twice about using the MT. I have however discovered the MT is great in traffic being much lighter than my usual bikes I was doing the twist and go shuffle!
Pupster if you read this before you finally get home do not forget to let me know where you will be in Stoke Mandeville and I will try to get there to see you back.

Just as I left a MT 500 arrived so there are at least 2 of us in the London area.
