Regards leaving the Hayfield campsite, at a guess between 9 and 10am.

The campsite is well sign posted as you drive into the village so it should be easy to find. There is a van selling the usual bacon / sausage sandwiches etc near the site entrance.

Look forward to seeing you.

Dave

Thanks for that. I will be making every effort to get there (on time ;) )

The first of possibly many piccies of the run.
I only had a day pass, the rest of the hardy soles went of into the sunset, or was it leaden skies. But after having to suffer the Eurovision drivel I wish I had bought a tent.

Thanks to Dave for planning a n interesting rout, the bit I did anyway. Image

Great choice of route from Dave. I joined at Howarth and rode with the group as far as Barnard Castle before peeling off to Durham for a family christening. Here's a shot taken at Horton in RIbblesdale on Sunday morning. Pen-y-Ghent looms in the background.

Nice to meet Owdgeezer (briefly), and from the left: Eric (Wirralman), Dave (DSG), John (jmp) and Brian (bth2bth2) and put some faces to names.

My bargain MT500 performed brilliantly, showing a fair turn of speed, and making sure footed progress on some damp gravelly roads. I'm really happy with the bike.

Roll on Llandrindod Wells!
