Thanks for the information, would it be possible to meet up there one evening or weekend (as many members as possible) and get a MT Riders Photo in front of the Vulcan ?

At Ă‚ÂŁ2 each, entry its good value for the money.

Yep, no problem, you can even have a tour of the cockpit if you want. Just pm me, I'm there every Sunday (except when we have an MT weekend) and all donations help to pay for the constant repainting of the 'Delta Lady' :)

Vulcan 558 is currently at Docaster ( old RAF Finningley) I think, and rumours are correct, out of engine hours soon and no more engines coming from Rolls Royce!

We still open the bomb doors on ours, especially on open days, as the hydraulics are all serviceable

does the 558 still fly? If so you guys must be the ones up at Lucears airshow? I thought only 1 was still in the air so perhaps not.

Ah right thought you were saying you had the 558 where you are. Its a fantastic bit of history, sorry to see it grounded. Whats next I wonder?
You get up to many airshows? There was a collection of MT's at Lucears last years airshow, alongside the Chinooks - Shame the Lancaster and spitties fly over was cancled due to bad weather :(
