Ran out of petrol ... again!
This time I did have the petrol tap the right way round. Measured the reserve and it lasted a whole 4.5km - not even a fighting chance of finding a petrol station!
Fortunately I had taken heed of advice and sourced a slim 1/2 gallon can that slips into the front pannier. Rubbish reserve though

I started the day by fitting a set of Renthal enduro high bars. Ive now finished the day with the shocks, exhaust, rack, mudguard and lower mudguard removed. All ready now for a session with the sand paper and paint.

I fitted my new stainless 'straight-through' exhaust on my MT500. Very very loud.

It's outrageous. I haven't dared take it out yet. I'm not sure what it will do to the tuning. Might have to put a bigger main jet in.

Ben or Andy,
What make of silencer is it and who supplies them please ?
It would be good to hear your opinions if they help the engine to breath better ?
