Broke my bike today. Also fixed it again. Valve clearances re-done to a tight fag packet thickness, no doubt the locknut will spin up again sometimes soon :lol:

try just squeezing the nut a tad in a vice. stud lock might also work.not sure if its oil resistant.

drove to dvla in preston 15mls to obtain a replacement tax disc cos my other did not return with my bike and guess what....

can i have some id....because its flagged up stolen...can you make a call to check? i asked...sorry sir cant do that.....BUGGA !!! So drove to my local station ,thinking plod had not reported it recovered, and guess what...its flagged up as recovered to owner.....hummm

anyway ,the lady behind the desk tried her best for 1/2 hr on the phone to, i assume ,the computer section . she assures me that i can now go back tomorow and tax it....mmm i wonder?

took the rear wheel off, removed the tyre. just waiting for the new tyres to arrive

Replaced my swing arm thrust washers and o rings. Fixed the inner mudguard.

Got a couple of (almost) knackered batteries from my mechanic, so fitted them onto my Armstrong, along with a new switch for the rear work light. New fusebox and other bits of wiring, and finally got round to putting a cambelt cover on :lol:

indicators are really smart but unfortunatly you cant replace the bulbs...doh they are sealed units. ill see how long they last.
