I thought the M16 was a longer barrel than the SA80 though happy to accept I am probably wrong on that.

I don't remember to be honest, I fired one into a brick wall once at a Pen Dem though.

Barrels are the same length give or take. The 'SA80' Rifle is shorter overall by virtue of the magazine being behind the pistol grip. The M16 is longer due its more conventional magazine in front of the pistol grip!! HTH

You may want the rear brace bars that the rear foot pegs are mounted on too.

I'm not sure these are standard fit on HDMT500e. I haven't seen them fitted on other US bikes, so I'd assumed they were deleted from the MT500e spec.
