Hi everyone, yesterday my link pipe for silencer arrived from Craig at apophis parts, it looks great and is polished too! Today Nick from Griffs Reality motorworks phoned to say my cylinder head is now vapour blasted and all black plastic coating will be finished tomorrow. Looks like i'll be driving down to Bristol on friday and then i can start rebuilding the engine..... Cant wait ! :D :D

Excellent good to know things are moving on for you. Can't wait to see some more pics. What size sprockets will you be using?

If you were teh RQ I hope you had a stack of MT Spares in an MFO box when you left! I did, but gave them all away thinking I'd never own one :o Even Jock Laverty tried to blag some trials tyres from me!

 I was bullets and beans.... and towels!, I wish i knew then that the army motorcycles days were numbered, we had a store FULL of stuff, some of it would have been backloaded to withams after i'd left no doubt or worse still just chucked in a skip as it would have been deemed of little value. If you were at Stafford show last year you may remember the big blue bag of oil and air filters - I liberated those from a skip! :)

Been busy tonight, Head almost back together and nice and shiney! :D

You don't need a parachute to skydive. You only need a parachute to skydive twice.
