Out of interest what battery are you using, as I was about to get one CCM`s use which are also used in the Hayabusa.

my starter is the standard 350 starter with decomp leaver start the turn over with the decomp then let it in and the batt im useing is
Kyoto Ultra YB14L-A2 12V 14Amp Hour
Or this is an equivalent on ebay

to be honest I dont Know
I have been clocked at 90 with more to go so i would say 95 ish
I didnt put it in for the top end i put it in to pull so if i get to a hill the speed dont drop off

Even my modest CCM500 'special' lump will go to 90 but as you say, who wants that on an MT! It does make for a very very light front end on power though, but the 15 tooth drive sprocket wont help that. Is 17 the max you can get?

i use 18 tooth now,top end it doesnt make hardly any difference,just a bit smoother,less vibration i find.
