I have replaced everything on the carb except the body - it still spits on deceleration (even with new inlet valves and guides) so that's next on my wish list.Mr Kay wrote:I would guess that 90% of the issues that people have with Amal carbs are a result of several years of inattention. I notice that your bike, an early one like mine (000093) has got an external fuel guage/pipe, do you find it useful?.
This bike is my no2 and is not yet on the road, if you remember the old forum I posted pics of him, (Scruffy). He looks a bit better than that now .
