Just a wee bit. Slightly de-saturated and text & frame.
It's pitch black outside, so shutter speed was around 30 seconds or so.

As said (written) previously - timing belt is new, double checked alignment by myself vs. manual and guys in workshop, new filters & oil, etc. Bike starts lovely. Warms up ok, no backfiring any more, but...

... took it for a spin on motorway yesterday and maximum I could squeeze out of it was 50 mph, downhill. On lower speeds still feels sluggish. It does drive, but feels awfully underpowered. While driving 20 mph opened throttle and... nothing happened. Just slowly started to pick up speed.

Immediately after I took my wife's Steed 400 for a ride to compare (it should have 31 bhp, quite similar power output to MT - so I wouldn't be biased after my 660cc Tenere), and it was flying, so it wasn't just me.

My thoughts - carburateur, but I'm no techie, so looking for advise. Booked visit in garage for Monday, but need to get them some direction to look at.

Eryk, sounds like it could be a diaphragm problem in the carb, either split/holed, pinched or not seated properly.

Ill secound that. Even if the diaphragm isn't seated properly it can affect the running of the bike. To make sure its seated properly I'd remove the carb from the bike and have a proper look.

Thanks guys for the advice. It was spot on.

Theres' a hole in diaphram. Just ordered replacement part from LMS Lichtfiled. Will keep you up to date.

In the meantime - time to get back on Tenere. Better riding comfort, better lights, more power... why the hell did I even bought the MT? Because it's so cool bike.

Update on Jolly Green Giant.
Fitted new diaphragm yesterday.
What a difference! Took it for decent spin today including bits on motorway. It was me who ran out of puff - not the bike. I was doing about 65 mph and decided - that's enough and the throttle wasn't fully open yet. In fairness - the original tyres aren't in best shape, it was wet and windy and I'm used to bikes with fairings, so it felt like speed of light...
Throttle response is awesome, and even sounds quite good. I'm delighted with the bike.
Ordered set of Pirelli MT90 tyres - should be ready for Tuesday.
