Have a look at this link it's self explanitary http://www.conwymcc.co.uk/?page_id=13" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;namtip wrote:I'm a new MT owner (well, a new bike owner to be exact - she's my first) and I want to go to this, and if I do then I'll probably camp. Who else is camping? I've never been before; what happens exactly? And just making sure but, can we send the £20 in cash? The wording is vague where they say "The Entry Fee will be £20 or €30 (notes only)... Cheque’s in Sterling only made payable to..." Does that mean 'cheques only' or 'cheques in sterling only'??
Sorry, I'm feeling more stupid than normal this morning...
Everyone camps at the rally site on the Saturday night as it is only a one night rally. You send your cheque(fresh out of your cheque book) and two SAE(self addressed envelopes with stamps) They return a ticket immediately in one envelope to show you've paid then because the location is kept secret(no it's not a rave) you receive your second envelope with the location of a caravan which you have to find on the morning of the rally to get a sticker and directions to the site.
The rally is within a certain radius of Betws y Coed so many people stop overnight in this area on the friday night(bunkhouse, b+b,camping etc) for an extra nights socialising and to give yourself an easy start on the saturday.
Hope this clarifies things but more probably confuses matters.
