Project Lola safe in the garage!

Picked up an MT500 over the weekend! Seller had owned it for a few years, done a bit, but other projects took over!
Any how, quick look over and there are the usual sheared bolts, rust and rusty/sheared exhaust studs. Tank is un dented, wheels run true (spare rear with a couple of bust spokes)
All appears to be there (famous last words), except rear silencer box, there is a Supertrapp S/S rear box but the inlet is way too big for the middle section to connect to. No battery.
Good bits new rear sprocket and drive chain, all new boxed filters, new control cables and a a spare swing arm. Forces workshop manual.
I will be working in a standard size garage and a 8x6 shed, I have a pretty extensive kit of tools and I've built/rebuilt about 8/9 bikes over the years, so a "basic" single trailie should be easy! (more famous last words!!).
Took a few pics which I will upload. May not show too well on screen but I did not think the green would have faided so much (see fork legs), quality of paint or lack of lacquer?
I do not intend to keep it standard, up grade carb', sort out exhaust/engine studs (some kind of shield? maybe), maybe drop the front mudguard.
I will look to try out the "soda" rust cleaner method along with over the counter stuff.
Found some stuff in B&Q called Plasti Dip, maybe try it out on the rear springs?
First job, clean off mud and oil and assess what needs work.
Suggestions for easy fixes or upgrades welcome.

Looks in good nick to some bikes I have put back together, the last one came in bits in a box and had been run with on oil until, You guessed it, it blow up.
In fact I have just started it today and it runs sweet as a nut.

Yes, not too bad at all. I have a big pot of S/S bolts etc, replace as I go. They could have gone S/S from new but I guess they were relying on the army routine maintenance to keep them all in good nick.
Yep it's just as much fun fettling as it is riding.
If it was man made it can be man re made!

Damn shame not having a pump

from what i have learnt so far the frames and bits are easy hardest part is remebering how the loom sits on and that is pretty simple

so best of luck mate not that your need it im sure
