Just couldn't resist it any longer - and although she's not quite finished - I thought I'd just try to kick her over....she's not been fired up for the best part of 18 months while she's been in pieces....lots of choke - bit of throttle - found TDC - big swing - and suddenly lots of noise and beautiful exhaust fumes blasting all over the tomato plants in the conservatory - that brought the wife running - she didn't look as happy as me but i don't care today

Re: Project Oddie
I think the reason I've stalled with this project is that she looks so beautiful and shiney in my conservatory that I couldn't bring myself to get through the final hurdles of MOT and registration cos then I know I'll have to go and get her dirty
But the sun was shining today, and I thought bugger it.... A little later, and cunningly disguised as a 350 , I was grinning my way around some lovely twisty country lanes in order to give her a road test and fine tune the carb before the MOT...
A pair of fresh distanzia's are now on the way, and then I'm gonna bite the bullet, get her tested, and use her as my main bike
I'm still grinning....

I used to cunningly disguise my Landrovers that way. They were all green and looked similar and even the chassis plates were only screwed on
