AT LAST - I can post something in this area!
Yes, picked my bike up today from Simon, And I'm very pleased! As soon as I got home, I stuck some petrol in the tank, started straight away and I rode it up the steps in my back garden onto my Patio.
A soon as I pulled into the area where I live, EVERY Child, Teenager and Adult was staring at the bike on my trailer. Which sort of made me a little uneasy, lol, I had a C90 stolen from my Garden about 6 years ago, so I've chained it up, on the patio, chained to the fat metal railings on the steps leading to the Kitchen.
So, here it is, in all it's glory, on the trailer on the way home (note, this trailer is totally unsuitable for transporting bike's )

Stu,
Well done on getting the bike I'm very jealous and I'm now even more determined to save up all the money the kids drop down the back of the settee to help with my "Save an MT350 for Dad fund".
Yours,
Steve (jaffa)

Thanks Steve, That's how I've felt for the past 6 months, lol They're well worth saving for!
And if you've not seen one up close before, they're bigger than they look in the pics! Thnk I might get myself some Nicolas Sarkozy boots, lol, then I might be able to reach the ground!
Rode it in my garden earlier actually, I'll get used to it Can't wait to get it on the road!

Well done Stu, looking forward to hear your posts as get it all sorted and on the road.
I was thinking of getting a bike trailer, but looks like you have the answer, and it can be used for other things.
Obviously not, as you got your's transported by it.MadStu wrote:(note, this trailer is totally unsuitable for transporting bike's

Re: AT LAST - I can post something in this area!
Honestly Derrick, this is not very good really. It took a lot of huffing and puffing to get it into that position, and a lot more to get it out again, lol. All the skin on my right arm has been sliced off, and the swelling in my trigger finger has only just gone down
It was also a bit unstable on back roads, I decided to take a longer, boring route home, but one I knew would be on flat road and a costant speed because of it, then it felt ok.
I might keep it, but I'd have to chop a gap out of the front board to be able to roll the front wheel through. If I had a ramp also, it might have helped somewhat.

Re: AT LAST - I can post something in this area!
Thanks for the description of your journey. I very nearly used a similar trailer when I picked mine up, but slightly bigger, so the front wheel would have been inside. I managed to borrow a proper bike trailer so never found out what it would have been like.
