Slighty rusty MT350

Post by rustyspanner » Fri Feb 19, 2010 4:11 pm

Well got my new toy delivered today so will be stripping cleaning and rebuilding over the next couple of weeks and will put up a few shots here to show how im doing / beg for help etc!

Thinking grey for the colour scheme: partly to go for a RN look but mainly as ive got alot of marine primer lying around - and am pretty sure that would be tough as boots. .

Missing bits list is all on the front end after the first check. Need LH control set (indicators lights horn etc) and the screw in mirrors. So if anyone has these spare and want to sell them i'll bite your hand off.

Metaphorically speaking of course.

Donald

nice one mate but it's worth the time and effort in the end, all the parts a regularly available on e bay there were some side panels a front disc cover etc. they do appear regularly on there. keep us posted on the project, i can recommend the carb mod as i did mine yesterday.

Nice one, a good project to look forward too.

Question: Why is your garage tidy?

Mine looked a right state when I was restoring mine, sort of tidy now that it's 99.01%
done.

Sorry I'm waffling, drinking the Innis and Gunn tonight!

Good luck with your bike, any names for it/him/her?

Cheers,

Keith. :D

Well the garage is so tidy as it normally contains a car, which has been exiled to the street for the next few week.!
Getting my bits has been pretty smooth (thanks to members) and most of the dismantling started today.

And aleman : you can have free reign to waffle if you're on Innes and Gunn. They make that just up the road from me and it is fecking strong.. No wonder it come in wee bottles !
