was Ă‚ÂŁ200 cash. I think Apophis' was roughly the same. Im disappointed with some of it as he has painted the bearing surfaces and poorly masked the oil filler neck. The fork sliders are full of oily sand too. He was supposed to mask it all off properly hey-ho. Im going to thoroughly rinse out the oil tank - was thinking of using 2l of white spirit and a thorough sloshing, pouring through an oil filter and repeating a few times, that way it should clean any old muck out - any better thoughts?

I need now to get:

604 gasket to put the barrel back on with,
Sleeved spacers for swing arm/ engine fit (MT engines sit on a 14m swing arm spindle rather than the 16mm CCM, so the MT lump comes with the casing holes sleeved down to 14mm).
Needle bearings for swinger
Short cabled remote choke lever
K&N air filter
Battery
Loom (will make one)
Seat (to be made)
Rear Tyre (Distenza)
Stainless spokes
Braided brake lines (Apophis sorting)
Modify rear end to add rear pannier box
New chain guard

that's the only thing with the process
my fork sliders where the same i put the jet wash in the top and just held it in place for 10 mins until it had all been washed out the bottom.

the powder coaters had washed out my tank and it was fairly clean bit i used a drill pump with a filter in line before it went into the oil return then had a pipe from the oil supply union (lowest point) to the bucket i did it this way to monitor the Crap coming out and did this until there was no crud coming out

the rig i used is with Digger and Green machine at the moment

a dremal is fantastic for cleaning up where there should be no powder coat

powder coating is a very good insulater so make sure your earths are ok. i found out the hard way a few years ago when my freshly done up nimbus stopped in wales, but of course it could have been the bad air in that foreign country!!!!!!!.

I agree with the last comment. I had my CCM604 frame powder coated and could not get any electrical circuit to work and would not turn over. It turned out the powder coating was that good the battery cable connected to the subframe would not earth and there was no earth between the subframe and main frame either. It galled me to have to start scraping away the new finish.
