Looking good Gordon
one thing that crosses my mind looking at it is the done nut you have on the kick start side

when you put the kick start on dose it clear the dome nut ??
may be worth checking before you get to far

Looks good Gordon, especially the colour. I shall be at the painting stage with my project within a month and had a thought of something different to the normal green. Maybe RAF blue/grey.

Did you blast the frame? Is it powder coated or sprayed? If sprayed, what paint did you use?

Keep posting the photo`s as the bike comes together, I need the inspiration they give.. :D

Hi,
RAF sounds good, I like to be different too, while still remaning authentic, I had the frame and all the other bits blasted and powdercoated, in light ivory, which is sand colour..I"m due to pick up some more bit next week, the engine covers have been powdercoated and done in satin black, I be taking the rear wheel to be powdercoated also and then rebuilt. so looking good so far..good luck with your project too..

You don't need a parachute to skydive. You only need a parachute to skydive twice.
