Just so long as I have an approximate idea, don't want to turn up and I'm sitting in a field on my own  . The gate code has changed, I'll text it across to you Kev. No problem sharing it amongst those coming. Anybody else need the code send me your number. The code will be needed to also get out of the site. The key pad is on the gate post. What time were people thinking of arriving on Friday? The entrance has a sign called 'Cooks Barns' on a big silver gate. The forecast is for a dry weather and not meltingly hot like last time. Camping in the field on the left as you come through the gate. There is water and a loo on site in the mobile home in the yard on the right as you come through the gate behind the trees - not the buildings directly on your right as you go through the gate.
We can have a bit of a ride around Friday evening or just drink beer and talk rubbish, or both. Saturday tour around the roads of Rutland linking up some green lanes - nothing overgrown, muddy or with massive ruts - approx 40 miles. Stop for some lunch at at Hungry Hogs cafe near Allexton, Uppingham. Travel back to estate and into quarry for a more serious off road stuff for those who want to. For those who stop over on Sunday there is the ACU trial in another old quarry, no entry fee for us.
My phone number is 07557018930.

For entertainment there are 2-3 good local pubs, and on Saturday night you could go to https://www.brigstockbeerfestival.com/e ... nment.html just down the road from the campsite. Brigstock also has the nearest shop - co-op. Food in the pubs might be problematic due to the beer festival, but Kettering and Thrapston has the usual takeaways available.
